US M688 Lance Missile Loader
Jason Jennings | Dragon #3607
The M688 Lance Loader-Transporter was a U.S. Army tracked support vehicle for the MGM-52 Lance tactical missile system. Based on the M113 family, it transported missiles and warheads and supported reloading of the M752 self-propelled launcher in the field. Its armored, tracked chassis gave Lance units mobility across rough terrain while protecting the crew and equipment. Serving alongside the M752, the M688 was an essential component of U.S. Army Lance missile batteries during the Cold War.
